Born on 3 November 1993 in Dhaka, Dr. Shaikh Salman Salam has family roots in Morelganj, Bagerhat. His parents are Shaikh Abdus Salam and Kamrun Nessa. His brother, Shaikh Shahed Salam Ninad, works as a pharmacist at Square Pharmaceuticals Limited.

He completed SSC at Dhanmondi Government Boys’ High School (2008), HSC at Bir Shreshtha Noor Mohammad Public College (2010), and MBBS at Jalalabad Ragib-Rabeya Medical College, Sylhet, under Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (2016).
